Muscle Tension

Fell tense? With sore muscles? And temples and a forehead that throb with your heart beat? (Stress is weird.)  This blend is amazing. I first heard about using Rosemary for tension from my friend Janelle and now I am obsessed.

When I start feeling like this, I put a pump of V-6 and two drops of each of Peppermint, Copaiba and Rosemary in my palm. Then, I rub my palms together and rub it all over my neck, shoulders, forehead and temples. (Be sure to steer clear of your eyes. Eyes and Peppermint do not mix.) Then, I drink a glass of water and try to sit for a few minutes, cup my hands around my mouth and nose and breathe the oils in deeply. If the tension is really bad (because, life and toddlers who WILL NOT share), I will use a warm washcloth on the back of my neck to relax my muscles even more and drive those oils in deeper. The relief that comes quickly is AMAZING. Plus, it smells fresh and very uplifting.
